How to fix Paper Jam in HP Inkjet printer?

HP Paper Jam errors happen for several uncertain reasons while operating the print work. It can be caused due to improper alignment of paper, not dusting out the paper pieces, and more. Try to avoid this issue by using the recommended paper sheets for loading the input tray. Utilize the HP manual to load the Paper sheets required for the printing work. Here, we have a bunch of instructions that can make proficient printing access by escaping from the paper-jam errors.

  1. First, close the ink cartridge door and printer exterior door. Then, start troubleshooting manually to clear the paper-jam errors.
  2. Carefully, hold the scanner lid and rotate the printer to face the backside. In turn to access the printer bottom.
  3. Push the two tabs on the cleanout door to open.
  4. Now, if you find any jammed paper, immediately remove it without disturbing the printer setup.
  5. Once you have checked and removed the seen paper pieces from the tab, close the cleanout door safely. Now, get back the printer to an upright position.
  6. Now, to remove the paper-jam from the printer ADF space, you need to open the tray by lifting the top cover.
  7. Raise the tab on the ADF feeding tray slowly to remove the visible paper on the tray. You can also use the flashlight support to remove the papers that got stuck with the tray.
  8. Bring back the ADF feeding assembly to normal by closing the lid.
  9. Use the HP manual and reconnect the printer cables to the electrical outlet and wait for the printer to turn on automatically.
  10. Further, raise the input tray to stack the required bunch of paper sheets to start the printing work with appropriate settings.
  11. Adjust the edges of the paper regulator and pull out the output tray to initiate the print work.
  12. Look at the printer screen for any paper jam error notification message. If appears, try to contact the HP Technician for instant support.
  13. If everything is ok, continue with the print job using the print option by selecting the document to be printed from the paired devices.
  14. Or else, give the HP printer to the service.
