How to fix the HP printer offline issue?

Step1- Make sure the HP Printer is connected to the computer with USB or Wi-Fi.

- Or else, you are using an Ethernet cable to connect, confirm whether the cable is connected intact to both the ends of your desired printer & router.

- If at all you are under wireless or Wi-Fi connection, check for an active connection between the printer and a wireless router.
- Finally, wait for the print network configuration page report and find the IP address of the HP printer.
Step2– Set HP printer as a default printer (Windows 10).
- To begin with, use the Settings or Control Panel.
- Then, access using the desired options like Devices and Printers.
- Further, you need to right-click on your desired printer icon to choose Set as the default printer.
Step3- Delete all the pending documents from the print queue.
- To begin with, use the relevant settings and then right-click on your printer name.
- Further, connect through the drop-down to pick the option- See what’s printing.
- Access using the option Printer option from the window
- Finally, try to check for the required option- Cancel All Documents.
Step4- Check HP Printer status in Devices and Printers windows.
- After finding your HP printer under Offline status. Right-click on the icon of your printer > See what’s printing > Printer > Use Printer Offline (uncheck the checkbox).
- If at all your desired printer is in Paused state. Right-click the icon for your printer > See what’s printing > Printer > Pause Printing (removes the checkmark).
Step5- Make sure there is no copy of the HP Printer icon.
- If you have used multiple HP printers, try to delete the unwanted printer from the list.
- Use the uninstall the installed printer from the control panel settings.
- Then, you have to download the latest HP printer driver software.
- Finally, reinstall the printer freshly.
