How to Scan from HP Envy 5660 for Mac

  • HP Envy 5660 Scan setup teaches you how to perform a first-time scan setup on your Mac.
  • To begin, go to 123.hp.com and input your printer model, then follow the on-screen instructions to download and run the software.
  • Then, lay the printed side of the document or photo on the scanner glass and close the scanner lid.
  • Then, tap the Scan button. Then, choose your computer name and scan the job type.
  • Now, search the Mac for scan and select HP Easy Scan from the results. Next, select your printer name from the scanner’s drop-down option.
  • Then, from the presets menu, select scan job type, and then click Scan. Choose to Send in the lower right corner and choose the folder. Click Save.

HP Envy 5660 Scan documents to your Mac

  • After placing the photo’s paper or printed side on the scanner glass, close the scanner lid.
  • Now, search for a scan on the Mac and choose HP Easy Scan from the results.
  • Select your printer name from the drop-down option on the scanner.
  • Then, from the presets menu, choose scan job type and press the scan button.
  • The scanned object can then be modified by clicking the thumbnail version on the left side. You may modify the colors, correct the scan, and reduce the size.
  • Then, in the lower right corner, choose transmit, followed by folder.
  • You may also modify the file name in the prefix box and its location in the where menu.

Saving multi-page documents or multiple photos as a single PDF file

  • First, search for scan on the Mac and choose HP Easy Scan from the results.
  • Then, use the app to save the document or photo.
  • If you have already used ADF to scan numerous pages, go to the next step.
  • Load the photo and page into the scanner glass, then scan all the pages and photographs by clicking Scan Next Item or Add. Then, choose a folder and press the Send button.
  • First, select PDF from the format drop-down menu. Then, using the where the menu, browse to the folder where the scan should be saved.
  • Next, choose the Save into a single file checkbox. Finally, click on the Save button.
