Can’t connect my Product: HP Officejet Pro 8620 E-All-In-One Printer to the web.

Prior, to starting this- make sure whether your HP Oj Pro 8620e printer supports Web Services and start using the below steps to easily resolve this issue.

  • Switch ON the printer.
  • Check for the Web Services or ePrint icon on the control panel.
  • When you don’t have a control panel icon or you are insecure if your printer is supported, use the Mobile Printing solutions for more information.
  • If at all your printer is supported, recommended to purchase a new printer that is enabled with the features you necessitate.

Check the connection

Now, you need to make sure the network is appropriate to work by inspecting the Wi-Fi network connection & wired (Ethernet) network connection

Restart the printer, router, and computer

Resolve any error states by restarting network-connected devices.

  • Further, restart the computer.
  • Switch ON the desired HP printer.

Access the advanced settings in the HP Smart app or try to connect the printer homepage to activate the Web Services.

  1. Make use of the Advanced Settings (EWS) in the HP Smart app or type the printer IP address through the web browser address bar.
  2. If you have noticed the login or certificate window displays, try to finish the information to start accessing the EWS.
    • When the website security certificate shows, hit Continue to open the printer homepage.
    • Using the login window, type the admin for the username & PIN found on the label located underneath or fetch back to the printer, or the password set by the printer administrator.
  3. Make use of the printer homepage or through the advanced settings> Web Services.
  4. Select Continue, Turn On, or Enable, and then track any instructions to turn on Web Services.
